A Co. Antrim GAA club are holding a virtual table quiz on Saturday, March 27th – and they expect to attract entries from all over the world.

Con Magees GAC, Glenravel, are looking forward to hosting their first ever online quiz but they are quick to point out that it is a ‘quiz for all’.

“It is exactly the same as an ordinary table quiz, except that it’s online. Families can form their own teams in their own homes, or people can virtually team up together even though they are in different locations. In fact, we already have a few teams formed from people in different countries, including former players wth the club,” said Seamus McMullan, Con Magees GAC.

Entry fee will be just £25 per table and the club have teamed up with online venue The Horan Stand to run the quiz.

“Even though we are a GAA club, the quiz is open to anyone with an interest in Irish life. And there will be no sneaky, local questions,” added Seamus.

“The Horan Stand hosts a virtual table quiz every Saturday night and it have built up a loyal following of players who will also participate in this.  It promises to be a fun night for everyone.

Teams can register HERE. The event is supported by Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.
